Unfortunately the publication of championship races was delayed by the late publication of the FRA Calendar. Only races that are published in the original issue have been included so that the same details are available to all. Please note the new date for the Kielder race which differs to that published in the FRA calendar.
Race locations and grades have been balanced by choosing various races from across the region and spread out over the year. The list has been colour coded to reflect key fell running clubs and their area of influence. Thus: Esk Valley, Durham, and Northumberland.
As in 2009, the 2010 series has been expanded to include a seventh race which provides a bit more flexibility than the previous practice of selecting only six races. This allows more competitors to complete the four races required to count in the championships.
