A storming run from NFR at Hamsterley today. Good turn out with Nick Swinburn (knackered from a good run at the Northern XC in St Helens on Saturday but still first!), a good run from Iain Twaddle of NSP, Phil Sanderson, looking every bit the racing snake in third, and Scott Gibson in 4th. Dave Atkinson with a front of pack finish, followed by Phil G, David Coxon, Trevor Wakenshaw and David Beaumont, all finishing in good times.

The course was made interesting by Saturday night's snow fall, with about 2" of slushy snow on the route. The long runs on forest track were made very worth while by the snow and by the first cracking descent to the burn and the second run through the boggy foresty bit near the end.
