Phil Sanderson won - not sure if he broke the course record. Charlie Stead, making a rare appearance in Northumberland, was a few minutes behind in second, then there was a steady stream of runners led by Lee Bennett, Adam Fletcher (Wooler RC), Scott Gibson, me & Casper (6th!), Keith Murray (Teviot) and the rest. First lady was Sarah Lister (Blackhill). Approx 50 runners. Weather was OK, a bit misty on top and even some drizzle, bit of a breeze. Conditions underfoot were excellent with the recent dry weather. Money raised went to mountain rescue and help for heros. Excellent organisation with three teams of marshals at various points. Many thanks to Glen and the clan McWilliams for organising what is my favourite race. Special mention to John Telfer, Peter Reed, Chris Jamieson, who had also raced on Saturday.
