Big turn out from NFR for the final race of seven in this year's North East fell running championship. Nice little 4+ miler with no navigation issues but some snow flurries to deal with. Pace was fast from the outset with Will Horsley and Lee Bennett leading the charge for NFR. Will got in front on the very muddy outward track and built what would be an unassailable lead from there, helped by several short cuts through the heather over the Cleveland Way section. NFR took the team prize with Lee B in 7th, and Phil Addyman and Scott Gibson in 12th & 13th. Lee Grant, a little off the pace, struggled in a new pair of trainers. Also there were George Nicholson, Jack Walton, John Tollitt, Joe Garbarino, Phil Green, Ray Gray, Geoff & Susan Davis and others.
