The 17 miles of Holme Moss was made more difficult with a strong head wind for the first half of the race. However, the rain kept off and the low cloud cleared from the top of the hills. There are no big mountains in Holme Moss, but the short sharp hills can hurt. I enjoyed the race, but nearly went wrong at the end because the course had been changed. However, no damage done. Lovely sandwiches and cakes at the finish.
