The 25th Running of this event proved to be a successful occasion with all runners completing the course. Strong winds and wet ground proved to be testing conditions. NFR\u2019s John Telfer took over as race organiser for the day and he should be commended for his first class effort. Brian Robson is the only person to have completed his 25th Simonside Cairns Race and was presented with a box of jelly babies! Founding race organiser Peter Reed was on hand to present the prizes and thanked for all the pain and suffering he had caused over the last 25 years.<\/p>\n
