Nick Swinburn and Nicola Roper (Heaton) take the honours in the revival of this Northumberland Show race.
More NFR success abroad:
“John Telfer has completed the TDS in the Alps in 26hrs 46mins. The route covers 75 mile and 24000ft ascent. Conditions were near perfect and a complete contrast to last year.
John finished 374th out of approx. 1500. Chris Eggert was also nearing completion of this event.
A pretty good week for NFR and more inspiration for others to step up to the mark.” –
Congratulations to Peter Moralee!

A sunny and bright day greeted the runners for the 4th Powburn Show hill race. A classic out and back 3.8 mile course. Last year’s winner, Phil Sanderson returned to defend his title. An in-form Bruce Crombie offered perhaps the most likely challenge. Continue reading
