“Advance notice of Wednesday 13th August social run, ready to run at 7pm, meet at main Car Park in Blanchland village, see photo below from Bolts Law looking north to Cheviot, there will be other photos posted on the FB page. A 8.6 mile with 1,250 feet of ascent, terrain is fell & trail, a circular route taking in Bolts Law. Note: This route is slightly different to last years outing.

This is an informal, social run. Although there is an allocated leader ( me ) for the run, there will be opportunities to re group and there are a number of escape routes BUT be aware that you will be expected to be self sufficient and be able to look after yourself on the fells in all weathers and on rough terrain. I will assume everyone attending can navigate their own way back to the start. As we are running on open fells, please carry full FRA kit.
