“NFR’s John Telfer has today completed the Ultra Tour De Beaufortain in the Savoie Region of the French Alps. John started at 3am on Saturday and crossed the finish line at 7.43am today. The route is 65 miles with 25,600ft of asent and John finished in 27h 43m54s and was first place in his category. He has completed this event several times in recent years and has also finished in P1 on 3 other mountainous Alpine events this Summer, a truly courageous undertaking.
