06/09/09 Ben Nevis: "The constant rain and a wind chill factor of -3 did not deter a quartet of NFRs from completing the Ben Nevis today. The race was easily won by Rob Jebb. Dave Armstrong led NFR home in 2 hrs 9, with Karen Robertson recording an excellent 2 hrs 14 in her race debut. John Telfer and Phil Green adopted the corinithian spirit of hill running and crossed the line together in around 2 hrs 40" - John Telfer. |
