The clag did eventually clear, though by that time most of us were descending off Dalehead on our way to the finish. I was first home for NFR with Paul Appleby next in closely followed by Chris Little and Paul Hainsworth. Louise Wilkinson was our lady representative. 28/06/10 Cronkley Fell Race: Lots of NFRs at the race and Will Horsley wins ("... all the more exceptional given he had virtually no sleep having done the last leg of Allon's BG which finished at 6.30am on the Sunday morning."). Results and report on DFR website here

Allon was blessed with superb weather throughout and went strongly from start to finish. He had assembled a fine team of navigators and pacers with family and friends as road crew and at leg change overs, all superbly organised by Sally. At the finish Allon could hardly believe that he had got around, but all the hard work reccying and training had paid off. A great achievement - well done" - Paul Appleby

10/06/10 Bewick Moor Run: Will's report

06/06/10 Yetholm Hill Race: "Misty conditions made for difficult navigation at Yetholm on Sunday. Almost the whole race was run in the clag, leading to several runners going astray. Gary Jones fared the best, winning the race ahead of the contingent from Moorfoot, Carnegie, and HBT. I was next in for NFR followed by John Dallinson and Katherine Davis. Scott Gibson went for a bit of a wander at Latchley Hill and so finished further down the field than usual. Glen McWilliams was also there, making an appearance for NFR rather than Wooler. Many thanks to Les Turnbull and his team for putting on this excellent race which is to be included in the Scottish championship next year" - John Duff
